Tension Graduate Prize 2025

This year, Central St Martins invited entries from all four MA Fine Art departments. From a shortlist of 45 artists, Tension Director Ken Turner and Art Monthly’s Matt Hale selected the winner: Amanda Moraes (MA Fine Art).

Tension has presented a prize to MA graduating students since 2019, and this year’s winner will headline a three-week solo show at Tension in August 2025. The standard was incredibly high—congrats to Amanda and thank you to everyone who applied. We can’t wait to see her work installed later this summer.
